240,000 tonnes of cereals and protein-oil crops were harvested in 20076. These are received by Cecab warehouses and have three destinations :
- the flour industry: wheat for mills in the region is produced by contract between the farmer and the cooperative. Seeds are provided by Cecab
- export: the exported volume varies from one year to the next according to the size and nature of the harvest
- cattle feed: this is the main destination for the harvest. Grain corn (for cattle feed) is produced under contract between the member and the Cecab, which supplies the seeds, ensuring reliable traceability.
