The location of factories within the production areas enables them to: :
- spread climate risks
- adapt to the specific features of regional vegetable production
- enhance distribution.
Technicians schedule harvests to ensure perfect synchronisation between farmers and factories. The vegetables are harvested and frozen in less than 3 hours.
Each factory has its own laboratory, linked to a central laboratory, where analyses and meticulous controls are carried out throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring constant quality. Computerised traceability systems allow the frozen vegetables to be traced from the consumer back to the field. Frozen vegetables are marketed under the d'aucy brand or under supermarket, hypermarket or catering brands. Products are then marketed throughout the world via offices in Europe, Russia, and South America and since february 2006 in Hungary and Poland.
